The International Institute of Conflict Resolution (IICR)
What is it?
The International Institute of Conflict Resolution (IICR), is a transformative initiative designed to equip individuals and communities with the tools to address and resolve conflicts, particularly those related to gun violence. The IICR will serve as both a physical and digital hub for conflict resolution education. Its mission is to empower community members, advocates, and specialists through accessible, high-quality training offered both in-person and online.
Where will it be established?
The IICR headquarters will be located in Rochester, NY, and host annual conventions and summits on conflict resolution, in-person, curriculum-based training for aspiring conflict resolution specialists as well as community education programs for individuals seeking practical skills to address local challenges.
To extend its reach and impact internationally, the IICR will include an online forum serving as an information hub and digital meeting space for conflict resolution professionals and community leaders. A self-learning platform will provide a flexible, self-paced online curriculum designed to provide community advocates with tools and techniques to resolve conflicts in their communities.
When will programming start?
Untrapped Minstries is planning to open the doors of the International Institute of Conflict Resolution (IICR) in the summer of 2026.
